Species description: Foxglove Beardtongue is a herbaceous perennial plant in the family Plantaginaceae. It is native to North America and can be found in prairies, upland meadows, wet ditches and open woods. It is more common to the south and east of Minnesota. It typically grows 2-3 feet tall and has white flowers. The smooth leaves are egg-shaped but get narrower to the top of the stem and opposite.
