As one of the most common of the white asters in Minnesota, Panicled Aster can be identified by ½ to ¾-inch flowers with 16 to 50 rays and over 100 flowers per plant. You can find this native growing along railroads, roadsides, shores, woodland edges, and meadows in dry to moist soils.
