Carex lupulina, commonly known as Hop Sedge, is a native North American sedge species that belongs to the Cyperaceae family and within the Lupulinae section. Native Range:

Hop Sedge is found along the East coast, and extending to the west into Texas and up, excluding the Dakotas.
