Penstemon grandiflorus, also known as large beardtongue, is a herbaceous perennial plant in the family Plantaginaceae. It is native to North America and can be found in prairies, meadows, and open woods from the Great Plains to the east coast of the United States. The plant typically grows up to 1 to 3 feet tall and blooms in late spring to early summer with showy pink to purple tubular flowers. The leaves are narrow and lance-shaped.
