Tussock Sedge

Carex stricta, known as Tussock Sedge, is a perennial sedge that grows 2 to 5 feet tall. It has narrow, upright leaves. This species is commonly found in wetlands, bogs, marshes, and along lake shores, preferring moist to wet soils. Tussock Sedge is often used in wetland restorations.
