“Low maintenance” is an attribute often associated with restored native landscapes. Indeed it is the reason many individuals, corporations and agencies “go natural.” But it would be misleading not to acknowledge that getting to low-maintenance beauty takes some time and some patience until the new landscapes mature---usually about three years.

Whether PRI installed your natural landscape or not, we will evaluate your site and recommend a management strategy to keep it healthy. Land management contracts are essential to maintaining both restored and remnant native plant communities.
No one can match PRI’s expertise when it comes to prescribed burning, exotic species control, wildflower garden maintenance, dormant mowing and/or integrated plant management (IPM).
WHEREVER YOU ARE, WE ARE NEARBY !!
Professional land management specialists, working out of six different PRI locations, are specially trained to meet the needs of your property or project. Our scattered work sites--Princeton, Watertown, Northfield, Duluth, Moorhead and Scandia-- make it easier and faster for us to get to you and to analyze your particular needs. We have extensive experience with controlled fire, species identification, plant management strategies, equipment use and herbicide application.
Finally, well-conceived, practical management plans provide a critical link to quality resource management. PRI ecologists can give you information about site history, existing plant communities, specific management problems, potential for restoration, recommended management practices and annual work schedules.
Managers of built landscapes such as corporate grounds, business campuses, golf courses and parks are encouraged to participate in the management planning process. Large project planning may require a ten-year chart, mapping maintenance strategies over an entire decade.
