  • Herbicide treatment to remove unwanted, nonnative and invasive vegetation.
  • Controlled burning and mowing to remove excess biomass for seedbed preparation.
  • Soil preparation with tractors or small equipment to create suitable seedbeds.
  • Seeding using specialized drills and broadcasters designed for native seed mixes.
  • Erosion control techniques to stabilize the soil and protect seedings and plantings during establishment, including straw mulching and erosion blanketing.
  • Bioengineering techniques to stabilize shorelines and streambanks, including installation of coconut fiber rolls and blanketing, revetments, brush bundles, as well as live cuttings.
